Tony Cimasko is the ESL Composition coordinator in the English Department of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, USA, teaching graduate courses on L2 studies and second language writing courses, helping to build the university's second language writing program, and conducting workshops on international students for faculty across the university curriculum. His work has been published in the Journal of Second Language Writing, Computers and Composition, English for Specific Purposes, and the online edition of What is College Writing, Volume 2. With Melinda Reichelt, he is the co-editor of Foreign Language Writing Instruction: Principles and Practices, published by Parlor Press. He is currently conducting research on differences between "real-world" professional genres and the pedagogical versions of those genres, and on feedback practices in various settings.
