• The homework for Section 8.3 will not be graded along with Homework Assignment 7. However, you are expected to know the material from that section for the final exam.

• Important information for the final:
• The exam will be held Wednesday, June 11 from 8:00 am to 11:00 am.
• Sections A01 - A04 (Jeremy and Zonglin) will take the exam in our usual classroom (Center Hall 101). Sections A05-A08 (Luvreet) will take the exam in Galbraith Hall Room 242.
• You will need to bring your student id and a Blue Book to the final exam. You may use one page (8 1/2 in x 11 in) of handwritten notes (front and back), but no books or other assistance during this exam.
• The exam is cumulative. You are responsible for all sections listed on the homework page. There will be a slight emphasis on material from Chapter 8.
• The following practice exams are provided "as is", exactly as they appeared when administered and without answers; in addition, they may differ in form and content from the exams given this term.

• Important information regarding the upcoming Midterm 2:
• The exam will be held during normal lecture time (9:00 am - 9:50 am) on Friday, May 23.
• Sections A01 - A04 (Jeremy and Zonglin) will take the exam in our usual classroom (Center Hall 101). Sections A05-508 (Luvreet) will take the exam in Warren Lecture Hall 2001.
• You will need to bring a Blue Book to write the exam. You may use one page (8 1/2 in x 11 in) of handwritten notes (front and back), but no books or other assistance during this exam.
• The exam covers Sections 2.3, 2.5, 3.2, 5.1 - 5.5, 6.1, 6.2, 4.3, 7.1-7.6, and 8.1, with an emphasis on Sections 7.2-7.6, and 8.1.

On 7.4.5, the correct answer is $$(e^u \sin v, -e^u \cos v, e^{2u}).$$

On 7.5.7, the correct answer is $$\frac{5\sqrt{2}+3}{24}.$$
