- The exam will be held during normal lecture time (9:00 am - 9:50 am) on Friday, May 23.
- Sections A01 - A04 (Jeremy and Zonglin) will take the exam in our usual classroom (Center Hall 101). Sections A05-508 (Luvreet) will take the exam in Warren Lecture Hall 2001.
- You will need to bring a Blue Book to write the exam. You may use one page (8 1/2 in x 11 in) of handwritten notes (front and back), but no books or other assistance during this exam.
- The exam covers Sections 2.3, 2.5, 3.2, 5.1 - 5.5, 6.1, 6.2, 4.3, 7.1-7.6, and 8.1, with an emphasis on Sections 7.2-7.6, and 8.1.

- Important information regarding the upcoming Midterm 2:
**5/13/14**There are two typos in the back of the book for answers on this week's homework.

On 7.4.5, the correct answer is $$(e^u \sin v, -e^u \cos v, e^{2u}).$$

On 7.5.7, the correct answer is $$\frac{5\sqrt{2}+3}{24}.$$

**4/29/14**- There is a typo on Exercise 7.1.7. The points do not lie on the given surfaces. The points you should use are (-3,-3,-27) and (2,2,8).
