4 - Background Info

Today, much of the audio we hear is created using a combination of hardware and software.  We built a system that holds audio data within the hardware itself and requires no software in order to allow the user to listen to the pre-determined songs.  Our task was to have the FPGA on the DE2 interface with the audio codec on the DE2 and configure it so that they are able to communicate and allow us to output analog, line level audio.
