The idea behind my project was to create a thermostat system using a temperature sensing chip and a small 5V fan. The temperature sensor chip would send its output to the Arduino Uno, which would process the data and send a control signal to a relay based on whether or not the processed temperature sensor output was above a specified cutoff point. In essence, the fan would be turned on if the temperature was too high. In addition to this automatic operation mode, the fan could be manually turned on and off with a switch.
